Michael’s idea graveyard
Over the years there’s been a load of half-baked, silly ideas which I have worked on. Below is a selection of things which still exist in some way or another.
-
Analogue spam
An analogue homepage delivered digitally to encourage analogue interactions and real world delivery of the finest hand crafted junk mail.
-
Facebook
I made a book of my face over 10 years – a true face book. Great for coffee tables to show that you’re an idiot as well.
-
Wax on, wax off
Want to shave me? Well this is probably as close as you’re gonna get – it’s quicker and more satisfying than in real life (yes, I know that’s what she said).
-
Pooch picker
A foray into the power of a single prompt file – from idea to silly web app thingy in a couple of hours – fun, silly, and thanks to Claude, wholly unsatisfying to create.
-
Gideon’s birthday
For some reason Gideon sent me this picture when we were working on a novelty yfronts idea… he’s wearing the prototypes. No, I have no idea why he did this either.
-
My life out of 10
One of the first things I built myself after doing a web design course – annoyingly the API doesn’t work anymore to give you a score, let’s just call it 4.7/10.
-
ToughGov
This was an almost something that never really was… might have been nice though.

Where’s Michael
Another thing that wouldn’t exist without Claude’s help, an old idea executed to first prototype – I can update my location on my phone and you can find me on a map, maybe.
